Our littles can be quite entertaining, but when they take their shenanigans out into the world and involve teachers, it gets a little less humorous.
My daughter, Chloe, apparently decided that she wasn't getting enough attention, or maybe she was just having a slow day. Either way, I'm in the middle of teaching a class and my cell phone is buzzing and room phone is going bananas. I ran to answer my room phone and found Chloe's teacher on the line.
Teacher: "I was just calling to check in on you! We were all so concerned when Chloe told us what happened we had to call and check it out."
"What did she tell you? I'm a little confused."
Teacher: "She said both you and her dad were in a car accident and you were both in the hospital.....with brain damage!"
"Good Lord! Well as you can see we are both fine. I have no idea...we'll speak to her when she gets home."
What do you do? Laugh, cry, fuss at the child? IDK....I chose laugh, and try to explain when creative license is appropriate and when it's not!
