Best answer I've seen in a long time.  We were taught to be afraid of Autism.  But we don't have to be.  Our kids are our kids, and they're amazing.  Period.  There's a great Facebook page I follow about Parenting Autistic Children with Love and Acceptance.  It's fantastic.
