  • Improvement isn't a straight line. It's a funny 1.

Read your post and can so relate. I graduated with my master's recently and was a GA and loved it, but now that job is unavailable just because I graduated.

I finally decided that if I didn't try writing a book, I would someday regret doing that. You quite obviously can write, based on your post, so think of a premise that makes you passionate and start writing that book. You could just collect some of your blog posts and put them together in a book or write on some topic that is under-researched or write the greatest novel in history.

I realize it won't pay the bills, but it will take 20 hours a week to seriously work on a book, so think about working it in to some part of your schedule and see what winds up on the page.

Off topic totally: I think a pile of your blog post comments may be from spammers. If you don't have some sort of spam "screener" on your blog, you may want to consider one.

Looking forward to hearing what you finally decided to do!
