I have been a stay at home mom since Sept. 2012 after being surprised/blessed with twins. We were going for the 4th and final child and...got 2!
I have 5 children now and love being home with/for them but am also so used to working and earning $ and being busier and socializing with adults more often. Ha! I felt like a little piece of me was missing. As these years have gone by I am excited to say that I have finally
found my happy place in the whole balance of homemaker mom vs. working mom life. I started a personal chef business in April 2015 (www.flavorfare.com
) where I go to people's homes and cook a weeks worth of meals at a time. I do all of the shopping, prepping, cooking, labeling and clean-up. I love
cooking so much and I am so happy I found...well, created
myself a job I truly enjoy. It took me 10 month to get my first real customer and now I have 3
. So that brought me to working 3 days a month out of the home. Definitely not enough to support the fmaily or anything but luckily my hubby has a great job so i can spend most of my days raising our children. I wanted just a little bit more though but know it will take years
for me to really get this chef thing up and running and my twins don't even go to K until 2018, so ...
I signed up to sell Jamberry nail wraps last month and am in LOVE! Just a super fun way for me to make a little $ while still at home with my kids. I get to talk to and see my girlfriends a little bit more often and am meeting new people almost every day. Having a blast working from home now, too! Feeling lucky and accomplished. Best of both worlds, so to speak.
And I super don't want to come across as crazy lady...but I am really
looking forward to sharing the Jamberry opportunity with others. Especially moms like me who understand what it's like and are looking for their special place, too. Jamberry recently announced that they are launching in the UK on April 5th, 2016. I am preparing myself the best I can to be an amazing sponsor and hope to build a team of fun, strong women who love the products like I do.
Having pretty nails was my favorite fashion "treat" for myself. I used to go to the nail salon and have my acrylics done every few weeks. I was never a shoe girl or a purse girl. I just liked having nice nails. No matter my mood or how I was feeling about myself on any given day, at least if my nails were nice I felt pretty in spite of it all
SIlly maybe. But true. After having the twins we had grown out of our house and needed to move. A bigger house meant a bigger mortgage so I cut my $25-30+ trips to the nail salon out of my budget. I went almost a year and a half without my pretty nails
and then a girlfriend of mine introuced me to Jamberry nail wraps. I was sold hook, line and sinker after the first application. After 8 months of using them and sharing them with my 6 year old daughter, I decided it was time to sign up just so I could get the discount. Lol! But now I have been having so much fun selling them that I am confident that this is where I am supposed to be, right now, in life. Stay at home mom who chef's on the side and
sells nail wraps from home. All the craziness of my life the last couple years has finally calmed down and is all falling into place
If you have even read this far, thanks for listening. Ha! If you have no idea what the heck I am even talking about when I say "nail wraps"...you should totally check them out...virginialouden.jamberry.com
Super fun! And if you are in the UK and feel like these are something you would love to try or wear or sell. Just let me know. I would love to be your sponsor. I can't wait to share this opportunity and to build a great team. I would be here to help every single step of the way. Thanks!
