Yesterday was my 49th birthday ... while my sister didn't call me and neither did my brother ... it was an amazingly fun birthday anyway. My husband totally surprised me with a gift I have been begging for for years ... a Pandora bracelet!
My youngest son, Tre, came home from school and saw the beautiful bracelet that his dad had given me and said, "I'll be right back," and took off out the door. I didn't know where he was going - but apparently he went over to the leasing office to find his dad and "chew him out" for getting me a better present than HE could get for me. It was his plan this year to have the best gift of all for me. So his dad told him that what I really
wanted was to not have to cook dinner. So Tre went and made dinner for me - fishsticks and mashed potatoes with a side of my favorite tarter sauce lol! He couldn't find a number 4 or a number 9 in the drawer or birthday candles - so he improvised. He used 4 single candles and turned the 6 upside down so it looked like a 9 and brought dinner to me in the bedroom so I could watch tv while I had dinner!
Now was that sweet or what? What are some great things that your kids have done for your birthday?
