I started blogging as an emotional outlet
« on: Oct 13, 2016 @ 11:47 AM »
I recently started putting my thoughts and ideas down on a blog because I needed an outlet to let them out. This last year has been really hard on my family. My daughter suffers with mental health issues, including anxiety, depression and an eating disorder. While, helping her through this difficult time, my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma and had emergency spinal surgery. Thankfully, he is currently in remission, after 20 rounds of radiation and 8 rounds of chemotherapy. At the end of February, 2016, my mother-in-law passed away from bone and breast cancer.

We are all still adjusting to the changes our family has been faced with. However, I'm more anxious and worried now and I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop and it's almost like I expect something to go wrong.

So I created my blog to help ease my thoughts and to focus on something more positive.

I look forward to connecting with other bloggers. I'm still just getting the hang of it, so please bare with me.
