Semi Newbie
« on: Jun 02, 2014 @ 02:58 PM »
Hi Ladies:
I'm Dani, and I am a semi-newbie to blogging. Semi meaning I had a few different blogs for years. Super unsuccessful because I was a busy new wife, mommy, fashion designer for a company full-time as well as starting up my own bridal line. I basically had ZERO time to blog, but I really, really wanted to be a blogger. I love to watch YT videos as well, so I even made a few of my own, but could never really find my voice. Between wanting to be a natural hair blogger and wanting to be a designer, it was just too much.

Fast forward to today- I have a five month old baby girl and a 7 year old daughter. I am also a loss mommy. I write once in a while on my loss blog about my angel son Hill, but the truth is, I don't feel like only writing about my grief. It's one (major) facet of my life, but it isn't the only one. I have so many varied talents and so many different experiences and interests, and sometimes grief isn't what I want to talk about.

My blog, is a lifestyle blog  of a WAHM Mompreneur and Loss Mommy who loves fashion, food, and fitness. I am interested in a variety of different things and I blog about all those things.

Right now, I am trying to grow my blog audience. I plan to try to write content daily and save it for later posting. Some blogs operate on a once a week schedule, others you get content every few days. I am thinking daily content as far as Instagram/Twitter/FB via inspirational quotes and pics, and then once a week blog posts like Tutorials, recipes, out and abouts, and product reviews. I also have the hookup on lots of cool prizes so I plan to do lots of giveaways.

I will periodically post Loss themed graphics and other items for sale that will be for bereaved parents specifically.  Part of the proceeds are going to Loss organizations so there will be also periodic info about info like walks and other special events. Lastly, I of course want to promote my shop and products (I make girly doo-dads such as hair accessories and baby sets), so I plan to post content periodically advertising sales and new stuff. But I don't want to inundate because not every person who comes to my blog will be searching for those things, so it's going to mostly be free content.

Anyway I'm happy to be here. Any tips or ideas, I'd certainly appreciate it.
