Newbie here saying hello and introducing who I am. I'm a 30 something Mom who is juggling the everyday work-like-family-self-identity challenge. I was a single mom of 1 boy for 11 years and I was knee deep in the hectic life that comes with doing about 90% of the parenting on my own. I wouldn't change a minute of it. But I did earn some experience in that part of my life that I am more than happy to share with you all.
About six years ago I met the guy who made me feel like marriage just might be for me after all. I was jaded and cynical, never thought I'd find myself joining the married types. Well, here I am married for about 4 years and I have four beautiful step-daughters + a 2 year old toddler monster. So we are the standard yours, mine and ours kind of family. We struggle and celebrate and try to focus on the positive and counting down until the last little guy grows, spreads his wings and flies the coop. Looking forward to chatting more.
