Hi, my name is Morgan and I blog over at bartelchronicles.com

I blog about my families journey raising a son with a life threatening genetic disorder. It seems like all the other bloggers for the "special needs" category aren't very vocal on here. It also seems like we are separating blogs by topics too much. I blog about special needs and many other things. I would love to meet some mommy blogger friends :)

I can't wait to hear from y'all!!!

Hi Morgan

I've only just joined this forum (literally a few mins ago)!  I'm a complete bloggy noob.  I blog about the things my family have learned with kids who have eczema, allergies, asthma and hay fever (inherited atopy).

I also want to expand my blog to capture wider lifestyle topics - I want it to be educational on one hand and escapist on the other!

I've followed you on Bloglovin.  I'd love to connect and pick your brains about blogging about the special stuff as well as the other things.

cheers!
Lisa

I have a son with Autism. He's now a tween, and we've had a lot of success in helping him to achieve skills and academic goals. He's very high functioning. I started a blog a few years ago but decided I needed more life experience in this area to be of much help to anyone.

This fall, my son will be starting at a charter school that's specific to kids with Autism. I'm sure I'll learn lots of good ideas from there and will likely restart the blog.

I wish you all the best with your blogging. My current blog is all about strengthening home and family life. It's been very rewarding for me to write my posts. Of course, I'm hoping others will read them too, but I do it for myself, first and foremost. At the very least, I'll have this year's posts compiled in a book from Blog2Print. I did that a few years ago when I started the blog, before my hiatus, and the book turned out great, almost like a journal.

I wrote this post yesterday in hopes that it might help someone this Easte season. It's titled, "Easter Egg Hunts for Children with Autism." I'd love feedback or input.
