A couple things to check before you panic:
- Do you have a TMB badge on your blog?
If you don't give your members a way to vote (a badge or text link), you'll naturally be at zero.
- Is your current blog URL the same one you have registered in your account details?
The system tracks votes based on your registered URL. If you move and don't tell us, we can't track you.
- Does your blog URL start with https?
That pesky little s will require you to use a special voting code. You can find that on the banner page or your account area.
This was an issue with the old version of TMB and I'm not sure if it will be a problem now but how your domain is redirected can sometime be the culprit. If so...
The new TMB system tracks votes in from your REGISTERED blog and will only recognize 300 level redirects if your forwarding from one URL to another (not framesets, iframes meta-refresh, etc). You have to enter/update the exact URL & make sure that it's using a 300 level redirect. For example:http://www.myblog.com
is not the same as http://myblog.blogspot.com
If your not sure how your domain name is being redirect, here is a handy tool to tell you: http://www.internetofficer.com/seo-tool/redirect-check/
If you test your URL and you see something like this: This page contains frames (introduced by a FRAME tag) that means the way your blog is being redirected/forwarded is not being picked up. In this case, use your original blog URL instead of the domain name you registered or use a 301 redirect instead of a frameset which is better for your SEO anyway.
