Adding a photo to my blog?

Hello! I am new to TMB and trying to figure out a few things. It may be obvious but between being mommy-brained and computer-challenged I can't figure out how to get a picture next to my blog profile. Did I do something wrong? How do I make a picture happen? If anyone knows I would be very grateful for some help and could stop slamming my head up against the wall >:( xoxo!

I moved your post to the directory help board!

Do you still need help with this? If you want a banner/pic in your listing, the form will only accept a URL. Meaning it doesn't upload it from your computer but has to already be online. If you can't upload images to your blog (which is unlikely) you can always use TinyPic.Com or another image host to get a temporary URL. Then you add this in your account details.

There's more info in this FAQ too.

Oh, and don't forget.. the website doesn't update in real time so it can take anywhere from 10 mins to 24 hours for certain changes to reflect on your listing!

Hi,

I just got my url from tinypic.com and now where do I enter it under account details? I can't seem to locate the proper place. I see my personal forum photo but where do I place the avatar for the blog directory? Or is that the same thing?

The directory & the forum are separate systems/signups, unfortunately. You'll need to log into the directory to add it there.

This is top-secret/not released to the public/lounge ladies insider gossip:

The new TMB system will have a legit upload system!!   :D ;D :) ;)

No more importing a URL. Yay! Major happy dance because the whole adding a URL vs uploading a banner was a major hurdle for many members. That change will make the FAQ page about half the size. Spoilers!
