Veteran Guidance is Appreciated!
« on: Feb 14, 2013 @ 03:44 PM »
Hi Fellow Bloggers!

I've recently begun blogging and while I currently work full-time in Marketing and PR, I'm new to the online advertising world. I've been spending hours researching the best ways to promote a blog. I've hit up the online basics: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest. I've been conversing with other mommy bloggers and showing interest to fellow bloggers. From an offline direction, I've been hanging some advertisements in my local area.

While I've been doing all this, I know I'm barely scratching the service. I'd appreciate any promoting advice the veteran bloggers could offer. I want to learn. How can I further promote my blog?

Hi Kayla,

Pretty open ended question.

You gotta get content out there. That's big. Get 20 - 30 blog posts up and don't worry about "promoting" them as such yet. Need to have a base first.

Once you have that "base", here are 30 Ways You Can Promote Blog Posts. Cathy Stucker is a genius.

This post is 6 months old. So, maybe you've grown a little more savvy. Please reply with any specific questions.
